And chocolate. I like chocolate too.
Indeed it is that time of year again. Those photos are amazing, what a beautiful area you live in. Autumn is strange in England this year, many trees are bare before most have even turned shades. I fear the display of colour will be lessened somewhat.
I hear you’ve had a second burst of flowers, too, so what that means for next Spring I don’t know. We had snow a few days ago and now it’s up in English midsummer temps again! La Nina, I guess.
Could be, two years ago the flowers did the same. It was strange, the bumblebee species didn’t visit foxgloves out of season, they obviously weren’t looking for them at that time of year.
Those are excellent pictures as usual, Steve! I just bought Lis a nice camera, so now I finally have a local “photo buddy.” Together, we’ll try to keep up with you and your excellent work!
We all make mistakes but not all of us are this brave. http://t.co/eOSw6JIw It'd help if we stopped treating politicians as gods and demons - 2 weeks ago
I’m still amazed by your skills as a photographer. Flagstaff must be a beautiful place to live.
Thanks very much!
But it’s not me really – it’s just so EASY here! It is indeed a beautiful place. Takes my breath away.

Thanks for sharing. I never get to see trees like that because I live in southern Florida.
How dare you live such a beautiful life, lol.
Ha, well if it helps, we don’t have particularly good ocean views here
Nor any coral reefs. None younger than 200MY anyway, and they’re a bit drab…
You could really believe you’d trained as a professional photographer,
These are really beautiful.
Somehow i had missed this one until i put you on my RSS feed. As usual, these are truly forgettable, uninspiring images!
Fantastic stuff.
