Secret Canyon

You deserve a short break from artificial intelligence. Coincidentally, so did I, so I went out hiking and mountain-biking yesterday. Since you weren’t there I guess you had other plans and will have to make do with some photos. Normal angst over the design of artificial brains will resume shortly.

Sometimes a single photo can be worth the whole hike

Secret Canyon Wilderness, which I had mostly to myself

Welcome to Hobbiton. Frodo's is the third on the left. Just walk in.

In desert areas, Spring can be subtle. But Sedona never disappoints.

And the upper canyon was cool and lush.

What better sight to munch a burger to, after a good hike?

Look, no hands!!!

Down here in New Zealand following your blog – after Lucy Suchman presented your work. You would like the landscapes here. I send my 16 year old your science posts to add to his tapestry of accumulating knowledge.

      Hi Bindy,
Lucy Suchman presented my work? From a cyberfeminist angle? It’s still a bit of a mystery to me how I fit into all that.
I would LOVE to see NZ! Such a beautiful place. It’s on my list for just as soon as I can afford it.
